Family activities to discover the Golfe du Morbihan
The Golfe du Morbihan is a real playground for families, specially designed to delight children. Embark on a boat trip to one of the many islands, where youngsters can play at being little explorers. The Golfe du Morbihan is the perfect place for unforgettable family moments.
The “little sea” (“mor bihan” in Breton) footpaths, which follow the signposted paths of the GR34 that circles the Prequ’île de Rhuys from Saint Armel to the Tour du Parc via Port-Navalo, are also ideal for short walks with children.
Along the way, you’ll find castles like Suscinio, megalithic sites like the Cairn du Petit Mont in Arzon, natural sites like the marshes in Séné, views of the many islands in the Gulf and breathtaking panoramas that will delight young and old alike!
Finally, from miniature golf to accrobranche, orienteering games and archery races, Celt’Aventure offers a multitude of activities for the whole family. And don’t forget Branféré Zoo, where you can stroll through lush green meadows and meet animals in semi-liberty such as lemurs, zebras and hippos. Morbihan offers a multitude of water sports activities to suit all tastes. Explore the coastline in a sea kayak or paddle, perfect for admiring the scenery.
Just 900 m from the campsite, there’s a sailing school for all ages. Try your hand at sea fishing or fishing on foot for an authentic experience. Rent a boat, scuba dive or try out the thrills of kite-surfing, wing-surfing, jet-skiing or towed buoys.
Sail aboard an old sailing ship for a trip back in time, or try your hand at long-distance sailing to combine sport and nature. A true paradise for water lovers!
On foot or by bike in Morbihan
By bike
Les Genets campsite is located at the foot of the cycle paths. Whether you want to go to the market in Sarzeau or discover the Suscinio peninsula in Port-Navalo, via the Port du Crouesty, the bike is king.
Even Vannes can be reached by bike on the Petits passeurs shuttle service. Developed in the Netherlands and Belgium, Sarzeau is the first commune in Morbihan to adopt the point-node signposting system, enabling everyone to define their own route.

On foot
Sarzeau has a wealth of paths linking the Gulf, the Atlantic Ocean and the countryside. With the GR34, you can walk around the Presqu’île, passing by the Pointe de l’Ours, Port au Moine and La pointe du Grand Mont.
Stop off at our oyster farmers’ oyster bars along the Gulf for a seafood platter at sunset.
